Office Insurance: What Does It Cover?

Money

Argus offers protection against loss of money belonging to or legally held by the insured. Coverage is available for money on premises/ in transit during or out of business hours, with differing limits, and for crossed cheques, postal orders or drafts.

Employer’s Liability

Coverage provides Liability at Law for damages occurring in or about the worksite, for accidental Bodily injury to or disease contracted by any person and for accidental loss or damage to material property as well as loss of income sustained as a result of injury or property damage.

Public Liability

Coverage provides Liability at Law for damages occurring in or about the office, for accidental bodily injury to or disease contracted by any person and for accidental loss or damage to material property as well as loss of profit sustained as a result of injury or property damage

Property Damage

Argus can provide protection against damage to property insured at the office premises. In addition, we offer glass coverage for breakage of all fixed glass—within limits—including the cost of temporary boarding up where necessary.

Buildings (supplementary coverage)

Argus will indemnify the insured against any loss, destruction or damage to buildings, including landlords’ fixtures and fittings. Limits and exceptions apply.

Business Interruption (supplementary coverage)

Argus offers protection for interruption or interference of business arising from loss, destruction or damage. Limits and exceptions apply.

Infidelity of Employees

Plans can include coverage against any loss of money or goods belonging to the insured, caused by any act of fraud or dishonesty committed by any employee.
