Yes, you can include a variety of vehicles under policy; however, you must specify the level of coverage for each.

Argus offers the option to specify named drivers on your policy or to have a policy allowing any driver to drive your vehicles.

Yes. The company, directors of the company, owners or partners of the business must be listed as the registered owners of the vehicles in order to receive a motor fleet policy.

Any vehicle owned by and registered to the company can be insured under a fleet policy. This includes hired-in and loan/courtesy car vehicles.

Directors' own vehicles can be included in a company fleet if they are registered to the directors personally. A special motor certificate with the registered owner's name for these vehicles will need to be issued and provided to us for our records.

The motor fleet policy does not cover vehicles that are insured elsewhere under a private policy or are not registered in Gibraltar or registered in the name of the company, directors of the company, owners or partners of the business.

Generally, any authorised driver, which is defined as anyone driving with the permission of the company/directors. If you wish to restrict driving either to named drivers only or to any driver but with a driver age restriction, you may be eligible for a discount. In addition, drivers under 25 years of age will usually have an increased Excess applicable when they are driving.

No. Fleet policies do not cover driving other cars on a third party basis.

Yes. A no claims bonus earned in any EU country can be used towards your Argus policy in Gibraltar, with written proof from your previous insurer.

If your policy coverage includes Breakdown Cover and Legal Assistance from ARAG, we can arrange for your vehicle to be recovered and you and your passengers taken home or to your destination safely.

You should contact our Claims Department by either dialing +350 2007 9520 or coming into our office, where a member of staff will assist you on the handling of your claim and will start sorting out your problem immediately. The member of staff will confirm 1. Whether your policy covers you for the incident; 2. If there is any Excess to be paid; and 3. All the steps involved until your claim is settled. That is at your discretion. However, please take note that paying to protect your no claims bonus does not protect the premium itself; it only protects the bonus. If you make a claim, the premium will rise.

Possibly. You may be entitled to third party coverage when driving someone else's car if you are a policyholder, at least 25 years of age, and have comprehensive coverage and a full driving licence. Your current Certificate of Motor Insurance will state if you have this coverage. You can also call our Customer Services Department on +350 200 79520.

If you have more than one insurance policy in place with Argus Insurance, you will be entitled to a multipolicy discount on all your policies.
