2. If I've been as a driver on another policy, am I entitled to any no claims discount?

Argus Insurance like most insurers will only credit the actual policyholder with no claims discount. However, if you have been claims free we may be able to give some type of introductory discount. To find out more please contact our team on 00350 20079520.

If your policy cover includes Breakdown Insurance from ARAG, we can arrange for your vehicle to be recovered and you and your passengers taken home or to your destination safely.

4. How to make a claim?

You should contact our Claims Department by either dialing 00350 20079520 or coming into our office, where a member of staff will assist you on the handling of your claim and will start sorting out your problem immediately. The member of staff will confirm: - Whether your policy covers you for the incident; - Any excess to be paid; and - All the steps involved until your claim is settled.

5. How do I get about whilst my car is being repaired?

A courtesy car is provided by our approved repairers, and is available for the duration of any repairs to your vehicle.

6. What is protected No claims Discount?

With Argus Insurance, clients can protect their no claims discount for up two at-fault claims in any 5-year period. Clients must have at least 4 years no claims discount and be over 30 years old in order to be eligible.

No, under our insurance policy you can drive your vehicle back and forth to the same place of work using social, domestic and commuting purposes. We can however increase your cover if you need to use your vehicle to visit any other sites of business during the working day; we will not however cover any goods or samples carried in connection with business use.

Argus Insurance appreciates the importance of protecting our client's personal information from possible security risks, and therefore all of your personal information you enter into our quote form is protected using World Pay, which works with your Internet browser to protect the data. For a number of credit and debit cards we require a Card Security code (also known as CVV2 or Card Verification Value) which is a three digit number on the signature strip of your card. You may also, depending on the card you have chosen to use, be asked during the payment process to provide a secure password (MasterCard Secure Code or Verified by Visa) which provides extra protection from online fraud.
